All three of us adore the luxury lingerie brand Bordelle, and probably appreciate it more than most as we know the amount of hard work that goes into making these garments so sensational. 

This year, Bordelle are launching their Bridal range, something that we were very excited about! We asked head designer, Pia, for an insight into the creamy deliciousness of the range. She told us that the Bordelle bridal collection was conceived with the desire for an alternative to the conservative or girly styles which dominate the bridal lingerie market today. Whilst the collection is softer than the others, we agree that Bordelle is definitely not for the faint of heart!

Lace is not frequently used in Bordelle’s collections, so when we discovered the Bridal range had a line where lace is a predominant feature (see the delightful “Confetti”, above), we wanted to know more about the decision. Pia said “True Romance features our first lace styles which combine a much more feminine and elegant feel with our signature strapping and peep hole details.” At La Petite Mort, we definitely love a cheeky peephole. Whilst True Romance is a lacy development on the strong luxury S&M aesthetic, the bridal ranges were inspired by Bordelle’s most auspicious styles from previous seasons. Of which, these have been combined with brand new styles to create a range which is then split into four lines: Bondage bride, Classic Bride, Something Blue and True Romance.
